Congratulations Joseph Smyth! .
It comes as no surprise that the accomplishment Joe Smyth is most proud of is: being a Panther Football Player. Outside of school, his activities included football & weightlifting. Joe played 4 years of Varsity Football with many accolades, including being named to 1st Team All-County as a defensive back! Coach Geisel is quoted as saying, “He notched touchdowns as a passer, rusher, receiver, kick returner, punt returner & on a 100-yard interception return. He capped his career off with an amazing season.”
Joe also played some Basketball and ran in Spring Track. Joe enjoyed his 3 3/4 years at Palmyra & while he's excited for his future, he will miss the teachers, coaches & his friends from PHS!
