Mrs. Lianne Kane joined the Palmyra Administrative team in September 2012. She served as Supervisor of Curriculum for one year before joining the Child Study Team as Supervisor in July 2013. Mrs. Kane earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary/Special Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Holy Family University.
Prior to her arrival on the administrative team, Mrs. Kane taught kindergarten, fifth and sixth grade in the Council Rock School District. She also taught kindergarten and special education classes at Charles Street School. During this time, Mrs Kane served as a reading specialist and enjoyed collaborating with educators on best practices for teaching reading and writing at the elementary level.
Mrs. Kane is currently working towards her Superintendent’s certification. In her spare time, Mrs. Kane enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling and baking. Lianne and her husband Patrick reside in Philadelphia, PA and are the proud parents of two children, Aidan, 8 and Ava, 5.
