Here is a look at how they performed…
 
The Boys & Girls Track & Field Teams are off to an outstanding start this season! On April 4th, the Panthers competed in the Don Danser Relays and delivered an impressive performance with numerous top-10 finishes.
Leading the way for the Girls, 

  • Maya Richman-Dupont placed 5th in the 1600. 
  • In the hurdles, Ava Sims took 5th, 
  • Khloe Hunter finished 7th, and 
  • Leah Schweich placed 10th. 
  • The girls sprint relays were strong as well, with both the 4x100 and 4x200 teams earning 3rd place finishes. 
  • Madison Grimes had an exceptional meet, placing 3rd in both the high jump and long jump.
  • Ava Sims also contributed with a 7th place finish in the long jump and 3rd in the triple jump. 
  • In the throws, Zaria Welch placed 3rd in discus, 7th in javelin, and 6th in shot put, while
  • Samantha Domask finished 10th in discus and 7th in shot put.
On the Boys side, 
  • John Hammond led the way with a 1st place finish in the 1600. 
  • The boys 4x100 relay team placed 7th. 
  • Josh Carter took 6th in the long jump, 
  • Brock Weaver placed 8th in the triple jump, and 
  • Mike Kozlowski won the pole vault with a 1st place finish, while
  • Josiah Rodriguez placed 7th in the same event.
 
The following weekend, the team competed at the Georgian Court University High School Challenge (visited with some track alumni on campus!) and continued to perform well. 
  • Madison Grimes placed 9th in the high jump and 4th in the long jump, while 
  • Ava Sims finished 13th in the triple jump. 
  • Zaria Welch placed 10th in discus and 15th in shot put, and 
  • Samantha Domask finished 13th in discus and 20th in shot put. 
  • John Hammond earned another strong performance with a 3rd place finish in the 1600. 
  • The boys 4x100 relay team placed 10th, 
  • Brock Weaver finished 14th in the triple jump, and 
  • Mike Kozlowski placed 7th in the pole vault.
Great job to all of our athletes who competed and represented Palmyra with pride!
A group of young people in baseball uniforms stand on a grassy field, facing a person in a black panther mascot costume.The Softball Team went 2-1 over the break.  The Girls opened the week with a 13-4 win over Haddonfield on Tuesday: 
Jisselle Martinez and Jasmine Martinez each had 2 hits and 3 RBI’s. Mailee Kahana had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s.  Sidney Lim and Elsie Kenson each added 2 hits.  Jasmine Martinez was the winning pitcher, striking out 13 Bulldogs! 
The girls lost a competitive game to Riverside on Wednesday, 7-3.  Olivia Lynch had a hit with 2 RBI’s.  Mailee Kahana also had a hit and an RBI.  
The girls finished their week with an 18-0 shutout win over neighboring Pennsauken High School. Jisselle Martinez, Jasmine Martinez and Gianna Guglielmucci all had 2 hits.  Jisselle Martinez and Mailee Kahana each knocked in 3 runs.  Olivia Lynch, Sidney Lim and Jasmine Martinez each had 2 RBI’s.  Jasmine Martinez was the winning pitcher, striking out 10 over 5 shutout innings.  The girls are 3-1 and return to action today at home vs BCIT Medford at 3:45PM at Legion Field.
 
The Baseball Team The baseball team went 0-2 on the week.  The boys lost 9-1 on Wednesday to Moorestown Friends.  TJ Peltz and Nate Bachich both pitched and kept the Panthers in the game.     The boys lost to Maple Shade on Friday.  Justin Dellisanti had a hit and an RBI.  Brandon Howell and Nick Rex each added hits.  
Many team members (and families) volunteered to assist in the Eagle project of teammate, Mason Alvarado continuing to build dugouts at the Charles Street Ballfield. Its coming along, can’t wait to share the results! The boys head to Pemberton today for their next game.
