PHS STUDENT COUNCIL

All high school students are welcome to join student council. You must be in good standing with the school in both academics and discipline. All students must complete an application and commit to participating in all required activities including fundraisers throughout the year.

The form to apply for student council is located here. If you are completing the form outside the normal recruitment window, please also see Mrs. Martino or Mrs. Jones and verbally let us know you intend to join. Normal student council recruitment occurs in mid May for sophomores, juniors and seniors. Normal recruitment for Freshman occurs in September.

Student council members raise funds throughout the year to cover expenses, graduation awards, and an annual donation to the state charity. In addition, the majority of funds raised throughout the year goes toward tuition for Leadership Training Camp (LTC), hosted by the New Jersey Association of Student Councils (NJASC).
