Palmyra Honors their 2026 Educators of the Year!

Congratulations to the 2026 Governor's Educators of the Year Honorees!
This amazing group of dedicated people were honored last night at the Palmyra Board of Education Monthly meeting.
We are proud to present the following outstanding individuals:
- Palmyra Preschool Teacher of the Year: Kristen Holcomb: Mrs. Holcomb teaches Preschool and has been with the district for 18 years
- Palmyra Preschool Educational Services Professional of the Year: Hilary Franklin-Weaver: Ms. Franklin-Weaver is a Paraprofessional who has been with the district for 6 years
- Charles Street School Teacher of the Year: Danielle Watson: Ms. Watson is an ESL Teacher who has been with the district for 2 years
- Charles Street School Educational Services Professional of the Year: Ryan Hoffecker: Mr. Hoffecker is a Paraprofessional and has been with the district for 2 years
- Palmyra High School | Middle School Teacher of the Year: Laurel Deming: Ms. Deming is a Math Teacher who has been with the district for 6 years
- Palmyra High School | Middle School Educational Services Professional of the Year: Kathy McClure: Ms. McClure is the School Nurse & has been with the district for 22 years!
Our winners were nominated and selected for this prestigious honor by a committee of teachers, parents, and administrators. In addition, our Teachers of the Year will be submitted as candidates for both the County Educator of the Year Award and the Governor’s Educator of the Year award. Over the next weeks we will be profiling each of these amazing team members that support our students!
