The Annual CSS Student Council Food Drive is now underway through May 12th. We are pairing with the Food Pantry of Palmyra to help provide food for local families in need. The Food Pantry appreciates all of our donations when our students do this event for them. Please help support our local families. Last year, we were able to donate over 640 boxes of cookies and crackers to them. Lets try to beat that number!
Mr. Pete from the Pantry informed me they are in great need of:
- boxes of crackers, asking for boxes of each, not individual packs-Bulk size boxes welcome.
- cookies, asking for boxes of each, not individual packs-Bulk size boxes welcome.
- canned fruit, looking for cans of fruit cocktail, diced pears/peaches, applesauce, etc.
To make this event more fun for the students, this a schoolwide challenge. The homeroom with the most points will win an ice cream party. Our collection is from now until May 12th. Student Council members will be around to homerooms to collect the food with the final collection on 5/15 between 2:30-2:50. Please have your donations in school in time for them to collect. Winners of the greatest collections will be announced the week of 5/15 once everything has been tallied.
