The Governor has declared a State of Emergency due to the forecasted winter storm approaching this afternoon. As a result, ALL after-school events, practices, games & activities are CANCELED. Our elementary (CSCC) & preschool (YMCA) child care programs remain open.

Today, I was informed by the Palmyra Police Department that there was an incident in Palmyra. Due to the nature of this incident, we initiated our SHELTER IN PLACE procedures-which have now been lifted. Students and Staff were safely able to conduct their normal school activities during this procedure. Thank you to the Palmyra Police Department for their support throughout the situation.

TODAY@CSS: Students in our 5th grade classes (with Mrs.Gerner, Mrs.Allen, Mrs. MacKenzie & Mrs Ehret) worked on their annual charitable project for Thanksgiving. Students first learn about poverty & what it means to have empathy. Then, they assemble MANY utensil packets to be used in meal distribution at the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden.
Then, to celebrate their own abundance, they dine on a feast donated & served by the 5th grade parents.
