Palmyra High School announced that 47 students (24 sophomores and 23 juniors) have qualified to take one FREE dual-credit course with Stockton University in their 2022-2023 school year! That is a potential total savings of 19k for our students! The funding for this initiative is through our Early College High School Program (ECHS), coordinated by Mr. Jay Toscano, and was based on New Jersey’s Opportunity Meets Innovation Challenge (OMIC) Grant.
Eligibility for this amazing program was determined by students’ PSAT scores and performance in English classes. Families were notified last week and informed of the the courses being offered: Diversity in History, Genocide Studies, English 11 Honors and AP English Language. If students achieve a grade of “C” or higher, the course will count towards high school graduation as well as college credit with Stockton University. All credits accrued will be accepted by Stockton University and could be accepted by other two-or-four year institutions.
