Students in Ms. Sico's 7th grade science are working on a science lab with the help of their Tomorrow's Teacher (Nyla).
The lab's goal is to look at the process of diffusion through a cell membrane by letting eggs soak in different liquids.
- Before starting, we observed and measured the mass and circumference of regular eggs
- Then we placed the eggs in a vinegar bath overnight.
The students (left: Razier Scott, right: Kwame Chisholm) are measuring and observing their eggs after being removed from the vinegar.
Next step: corn syrup!
