Good Morning. We are required by law to perform Drill Simulations throughout the year & local law enforcement was with us today on-site to evaluate our emergency procedures. The lock-down drill today has been successfully completed at the Delaware Ave & Charles Street School Buildings. All Students & Staff were safe during this time.
Earlier today, we held a drill at the Palmyra Middle & High School building. We are grateful for the feedback and the support of our local law enforcement & the state observer that helped us broaden our District Safety Plans today.
An item of note to our community is that our alarm systems include a strobed blue light that flashes OUTSIDE the building, alerting people to STAY AWAY from the building because of an emergent situation.
