National Schools Week of Respect

Palmyra Middle & High Schools are recognizing the National Week of Respect Virtually in 2020. The new 3R’s in education are Respect, Responsibility, & Relationships.

During the week of October 2nd through the 6th, we are asking our virtual Middle & High Schoolers to participate in activities that promote good character, with respect of others & themselves.

Starting on Monday, October 5th, our students will be encouraged to include some fun activities in their virtual day to promote anti-violence.

  • Monday, we ask that our students Wear Blue to Stomp Out Bullying.
  • Tuesday, let's GIVE PEACE A CHANCE & wish for a Tie-Dye item be shared in support.
  • Wednesday, Wear any Palmyra Gear to show Uniting as One.
  • Thursday, Respect Our Planet & Wear Green
  • Friday, a day off for students, wear something from your favorite superhero to BE A HERO, not a villain & think of your teachers busy in their IN-Service day learning at School!

Each day has an inspirational quote & a CHALLENGE!  We ask that students follow the challenge on a path to better citizenship & mastering the new 3R's!  Anyone wishing to share their pictures of participating can email them to this address: RESPECT CHALLENGE

Bravo to all the hard work you have been doing from home, we are #PalmyraProud of you & #RESPECT the effort that you are putting forth!
