National Volunteer week

As mentioned by the Superintendent, Dr. McBride at the Board Meeting on April 14th, next week is NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK and we salute all those who choose volunteerism.

We are grateful to our Board of Education, a completely volunteer elected position that goes through ethics and school management training.

We are grateful to our District Parents, for their time spent with children other than their own, organizations including the Palmyra PTA, the PHSFEE foundation, all the high school booster groups, elementary Room Parents and much more!

We are grateful to our Staff whose time may extend beyond the norm to further our student's education.  Staff that volunteer outside our school community bring back the engaging stories to their classrooms that only serve to inspire our children more.

We are truly grateful for our Student Volunteers, members of Student Council, Interact, NHS, Panthers with Heart, World Language NHS and more!  Their time spent helping others brings positive light back on our schools along with helping the students become responsible citizens of the world.
