Happy Tuesday Morning Everyone.  I hope you were all able to enjoy your weekends!  Here is a look at how our athletic teams did last week.  Hope to see you out at some events this week!

Congratulations to the Palmyra Marching Band & Color Guard for their 3rd place finish at Toms River East on Saturday.  The group had their best performance of the year improving their score by over 3 points!  The Marching Panthers also took second place for the caption of Best Visual Effect.  Great Job!

The Boys Soccer Team had another big week going 3-0 and improving their record to 12-2.  They opened up the week with a 7-0 win over New Egypt High School.  Chris McCarron scored 5 times.  Joe Russell and Callum Curcie each scored as well.  John Liebe and David Ward shared the shutout in goal.  The boys defeated BCIT Westampton on Thursday, 4-1.  Joe Russell and Chris McCarron scored 2 goals each.  Matteo Gravano added 3 assists to propel the Panthers.  John Liebe and David Ward shared the win in goal.  The Panthers finished off their perfect week with a 6-1 win over Highland High School on Saturday.  Chris McCarron scored 3 times including his 40th career goal for the Panthers.  Reed Wells scored twice and Cole McCamy added a goal.  John Liebe and David Ward shared the win in goal.  The Panthers are currently ranked #20 in South Jersey by the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association and will return to action today against Moorestown Friends.

The Girls Soccer Team had another impressive week as well.  The Lady Panthers lost a tough one to Bordentown on Monday before beating Florence on Wednesday, 8-3.  Lauren Gilmore and Julia Ostroff each scored 3 goals while Angelina Sauls and Amanda Gilmore each added single goals.  The girls then shutout Maple Shade on Friday, 2-0.  Angelina Sauls and Kaylee Shaw each scored for the Panthers.  The girls are now 11-3 on the season and will return to play today at Pitman High School. 

The Girls Tennis Team fell to 4-8 with a tough week losing to Delran, New Egypt and Highland all 5-0.  The girls return to action today at home vs Cinnaminson at Legion Field. 

The Football Team took on a tough Gloucester High School team on Friday, losing 41-6.  Kwinten Ives scored the lone Panthers touchdown. 

Congratulations to Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams for their impressive performances on Tuesday. The Boys team of Dominic Belton, James Crean, Colin Broadbelt, Cormac Riley, Colin McGovern and Ben Small defeated Riverside, New Egypt and Northern Burlington. Their only loss was to Delran.  The Girls also had an impressive day with Cadence Anderson placing 4th overall and Olivia McGovern placing 11th overall.  Both girls ran personal best times.
