Welcome to the Palmyra School District

Welcome to the Palmyra School District, home of the Panthers! A tremendous sense of school pride exists within this district on the banks of the Delaware River in southwestern Burlington County, New Jersey. The Palmyra School District is steeped in rich traditions, a vibrant record of academic, athletic and extracurricular accomplishments, and a long lineage of successful alumni.

The Palmyra School District serves over 900 students in three schools. The Charles
Street School serves students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5, the Palmyra Middle
School serves students in grades 6 through 8, and Palmyra High School serves students
in grades 9 through 12. We also have the Delaware Avenue School, which supports
district offices and the Palmyra Learning Academy. Through a collaborative sendreceive agreement, students in grades 9 through 12 from the Borough of Riverton and
the City of Beverly attend Palmyra High School.

A dedicated team of support staff, educators and administrators ensure that a
comprehensive PreK-12 educational program is provided for students using New Jersey
Student Learning Standards and Next Generation Science Standards. Creative Science,
Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) infused lessons inspire our
students as they prepare for their future. Students are supported with modern
technology and a full range of activities to participate in throughout the school year.
We welcome you to visit our schools to experience our success. Palmyra Proud!
