We are nearing the end of the fall season with boys and girls soccer playoffs starting this week. The Girls Soccer Team had another perfect week, going 2-0. The girls crushed New Egypt on Monday 7-0 in our Senior Night Game. Sophia Wilburn and Riayn DiMeo each scored twice and Maura Russell, Lauren Gilmore and Angelina Sauls added single goals to lead the Lady Panthers. Maeve O’Connell made 3 saves in goal to earn the shutout. The girls then defeated Pemberton High School on Wednesday 5-1. Julia Ostroff scored twice while Sophia Wilburn, Molly Jackson and Maura Russell each added a goal. Maeve O’Connell made 5 saves to earn the win in goal. The girls ended the regular season with a very impressive record of 16-4. They earned the #1 seed in the NJSIAA Sectional Playoffs and a 1st round bye. The Lady Panthers will open up their playoffs on Friday at 4PM at Matt Curtis Stadium.
The Boys Soccer Team tied Haddon Heights High School 0-0 on Thursday in its lone game of the week. John Liebe made 10 saves to earn the shutout. The boys finished their regular season with a 14-4-1 record and a BCSL Freedom Division Championship. The boys earned the #1 seed for the NJSIAA Sectional Playoffs and will host Pennsville High School today (Monday) at 4PM at Matt Curtis Stadium.
The Football Team will return to action this Thursday at Riverside High School at 5PM for an NJSIAA Consolation Game.
The Boys & Girls Cross Country Teams will return to action at the South Jersey Group 1 Championships on Saturday.
The Palmyra Marching Band & Color Guard will return to competition on Saturday at Washington Township & since it is one of the few in NJ, they would love to have you there cheering them on.
