-and NOW from our SPORTS DESK - Athletic Director Mike Papenberg reports:                           Good Morning Palmyra!  I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekends!  Here is the last look at our fall season and all stars.  We will start our winter practices next week as we prepare for the Winter Season!

The Girls Soccer Team’s Magical Season came to an end on Tuesday at Point Pleasant Beach High School.  Julia Ostroff scored a 1^sthalf goal to put the Panthers up 1-0.  Pt. Beach tied it in the 2^nd half and forced the game into overtime.  Both teams were scoreless through overtime which sent the game into penalty kicks with Pt. Beach winning 5-4 in PK’s.  Maeve O’Connell finished the game with 18 saves.  The Lady Panthers completed their amazing season as BCSL Patriot Division Champs and South Jersey Group 1 Champs!  They finished their season with a remarkable record of 18-1-3.

Congratulations to the Palmyra Marching Band for their 8^thplace finish at the Cavalcade of Bands All-States Championships on Saturday.  Despite going on first in a field of 15 bands, ours finished their season with their best performance of the year scoring an 86.205!  The Marching Panthers placed 3^rdfor Ensemble Visual & 4^thfor Visual Effect.  Percussion easily had their best show of the season with a 5^th place finish and color guard finished 6^thoverall.  Congratulations again on a great performance and a great season bringing Little Shop to LIFE on the fields!
